Event Category

An event category is used to define a specific Type of event and may be associated with a procedure that is unique for that category. 


This can be found under Setup>Event Categories

There are 4 default categories, but additional categories can be created under each event Type: 

  • Structure    

  • Unit    

  • Site / Common Area    

  • Personal Property    



To add another catagory, Click the + in the top right


Name your new category and click Save




*Note: A category may fit under more than one event Type so it is always recommended to create a duplicate category under a similar Type when this happens. (i.e. Type - Flood, Category - Mold / Type - Biological, Category - Mold)
