Roles

Roles or Titles are used to provide permissions to the software and manage how the user(s) will be displayed. 

                *You must have a role with the proper access assigned to view this area


Creating Roles

  1. Once logged in, click Setup on the left-hand toolbar and select Roles.

  2. Here you see a list of all current Roles/Positions for your company.
    From the Roles screen you are able to create or edit user roles and specific permissions for your property. 

    Click +Roles in the top right corner to create an addition Role. 

  3. 1)In the Role/Title pop-up, enter the title for this specific role you wish to add.
       *Here we are adding an Administrative Assistant. 
    2) Select the activity level as well as what rights and permissions this role will have. (*an explanation of these permissions are outlined below)

  • Active Role 
  • Show Role as POC for Events
  • Sees all company items, regardless of assignments 
    • *Use carefully*, Checking this will determine if the role will be displayed as a Point of Contact in the Mobile
  • Event App. This creates an Administrator Role which allows this role to see all properties, users, and vendors regardless of how they have been associated. 
  • Report Events - Assigned to most roles
  • Complete Events - Sign off or mark as all documentation and steps for the Event have been thoroughly followed and completed.
  • Manage Company Profile - Normally assigned as an Admin role
  • Manage Users - Typically assigned as a Management Role
    • *Note: Users can only see and manage other users associated with their own properties or properties within their group
  • Manage Properties - Typically assigned Office Managers
    • *Note: This must be assigned to anyone who is responsible for managing on-call
  • Manage Property Group - Normally assigned as an Admin or Corporate role
  • Manage Procedures - Normally assigned as an Admin or Corporate role
  • Manage Events - Normally assigned as a Risk Management or Admin role
  • Delete Events - This permission is usually designated to the Risk Management role.
  •                                             *Note: Use carefully
  • Manage Vendor Types - Normally assigned as an Admin or Corporate role
  • Manage Vendors - Typically assigned to Office Managers
  • Manage Event Categories - Normally assigned as an Admin or Corporate role
  • Manage Roles - Normally assigned as an Admin or Corporate role
  • Manage Subscriptions - This role designates who receives what type of notifications. 

        

4.  Click Save
